Desktop Local runs AnI Accounts against a database on your own machine — the same ledgers, vouchers, GST/VAT, and reports as ANI Web, with your books staying on your hardware.

Install in four steps
A licence is required to post vouchers. If you do not have one yet, talk to sales — the installer runs in evaluation mode until it is activated.
2. Run the installer
Right-click the file and choose Run as administrator. The first install needs administrator rights to register the local database service.
3. Create your company
Set the organisation name, country tax pack (India GST or UAE/Saudi VAT), financial year, and opening balances.
4. Activate
Enter the licence key from your Tech Flexa order. Activation is a one-time online check; posting afterwards works offline.

If your browser blocks the download
Chrome and Edge check every downloaded program against a reputation database. A newly released installer has no download history yet, so it is reported as unrecognised until enough people have installed it. Here is how to continue.
Google Chrome
Open Downloads (Ctrl+J), find TechFlexa-AnI-Setup-0.1.8-x64.exe, then choose Keep or Keep anyway. On the confirmation dialog select Keep dangerous file.
Microsoft Edge
Open the downloads flyout, hover the file, click the … menu, then Keep and Show more → Keep anyway.
Windows SmartScreen
When you run the installer, click More info on the blue dialog, then Run anyway.
Before installing, confirm the SHA-256 checksum matches the value published above — that proves the file is byte-for-byte the one we built. If you would rather not bypass the warning at all, contact our team and we will install AnI Accounts with you directly.

Desktop Local
Database on your own machine or LAN server. Works offline. Backups are your responsibility.
Desktop Cloud
Same desktop client, data hosted by Tech Flexa. Managed backups and multi-site access.
ANI Web & Mobile
Browser access, plus mobile through the OneStop app. Nothing to install.

FAQ
Is Desktop Local free to download?
The installer is a free download and runs in evaluation mode. Posting vouchers on live books requires an active AnI Accounts licence — Starter, Essential, Advance, or Enterprise.
Where is my data stored?
On the machine you install to, in the local AnI database. Nothing is sent to Tech Flexa except the one-time licence activation check.
Can I move from Desktop Local to Cloud later?
Yes. Take an organisation backup from Desktop Local and restore it to Desktop Cloud or ANI Web. Your plan stays the same.
How do updates work?
The client checks for a newer build and points you back to this page. Installing a new version keeps your existing local database.
Is there a macOS or Linux build?
Not currently. Use ANI Web in the browser on those platforms.
